Export a PDF with your logo

A PDF is the easiest way to send your findings to someone who does not use Cyberbard: a client, a business partner or the person who builds your website. It looks like the report on your screen, with your logo and name at the top of each page.

PDF export is part of the unlocked report. If the report is not unlocked yet, you can fill in the form, but the last button asks you to unlock first. See What unlocking a report includes.

Export a PDF

  1. Open the report and click PDF at the top.
  2. Under Report section, choose what to export: Summary, Audit or Fix Plan.
  3. Add your Logo. Click the pencil on the logo to upload an image, then adjust the crop. A logo is required.
  4. Enter your Author name. This is required. It is the name shown on the PDF.
  5. Click Generate PDF.

The Generate PDF Report window: report section, logo, author name and the Generate PDF button

The PDF opens in a new browser tab. If your browser asks whether to allow pop-ups for the site, choose Allow, otherwise the tab cannot open.

Each PDF holds one section. To send the whole report, export each section in turn.

Your details are remembered

The logo and author are saved after you generate a PDF, so next time the form is already filled in. This is handy for agencies and freelancers who send reports to clients under their own name.

How long the PDF link lasts

The PDF address is fixed for each report section, and it stays valid for 30 days after the most recent time you generated it. If you generate the same section again, the new PDF replaces the old one at the same address. To keep a copy for longer, save the file from your browser.

If the report is out of date

If you open the PDF form from an older report, a note warns you that it is not the latest version of the report. Go to the latest report if you want the newest results.

Tips

  • Export the Fix Plan for your developer, and the Summary for the person who decides.
  • The PDF only contains what is already in the report. It does not change your website or your scores.
  • A shared link does not include the Fix Plan, but a PDF can. See Share a report.
